Project Goal: Create Brand Castles first ever “Ninjabread Cookie Kit” that would include cookie cutters, cookie mix, and edible décor that the customer would utilize to create gingerbread men cookies in ninja fighting poses.
Details: Working with input from Brand Castles President and Creative Director, I created the cutters, selected the edible décor, designed the packaging, and executed food styling and photography. The popularity and success of the kit in Winter 2012 resulted in increased sales and market saturation in Winter 2013 and was picked up by many more retailers such as Target, Cost Plus World Market, Urban Outfitters and Amazon.com
Details: The success of the Ninjabread Men kit resulted in the adaptation of the Ninjabread Men package style to several other products to create a complete product line.
Goal: Create a cupcake kit for Halloween that would have mass appeal and be simple and fun for the consumer. Details: I pitched this concept to Brand Castle’s company President in 2010. He liked it so much I was given the go ahead to complete the concept to go to market.
Details: I personally chose the Pantone color for the frosting, designed the cupcake aprons, and created a diagram to show the customer how to frost the cupcakes to look like brains. I also did the package photography and design. The kit was so successful it was ranked #1 baking kit on Amazon.com in 2011 and was Brand Castle’s top seller for Halloween 2011-2013.
Details: The success of the Brains! Cupcake kit resulted in the adaptation of the Brains! package style to several other products to create a complete product line.
Goal: Create a cookie kit that would appeal to buyers such as Tractor Supply as an everyday item. Details: I created the cutter, designed the packaging, and executed food styling and photography.
